This is the view from the 36th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel...so gorgeous!
I volunteered at a gala event this Monday! I wore my old stand-by black cocktail dress, this bcbg one. It has a parachute material for the skirt with a bubble hem and a stretchy fabric for the top. I think it's time to invest in a new stand-by.
I was on the fence with this jacket when I received it in the mail...but I'm keeping it! Like the other reviews the sleeves run long. But rolling them up one cuff fixes the problem, or otherwise I would imagine the tailoring would be expensive with the zipper detail.
The leather is thin, no lining, with this jacket and it feels like a second skin, which I like, it makes it less bulky.
I like this light one here this one is under $100 here and a splurge, but a really good color Micheal Kors one here
This was my Friday workday outfit. I'm not allowed to wear jeans on Fridays or any day for that matter. Oh well..that's why I now enjoy my weekend outfits much more! This top seriously goes with everything and I like the loose baggy fit.
These pants are fun and cutting edge right now. I always embrace the trends ~ peplum tops, skinny jeans, mint jeans, maxi dresses...whatever. And it's back - extremely wide leg flowy pants! They're a tad long and will have to head to the tailor. I'm even wearing them with 4" heels right now.
This was me....this past Saturday. When I wake up, I head over to my local corner market and pick up a coffee...and sometimes a breakfast sandwich. Then in the afternoon I headed to a beer garden to meet friends.
You know, I'm not going to lie...I like the bright color pants / jeans, but they do make my legs look bigger. I think a true white color is more slimming. If you look at the two different weekend outfits...the plain dark jeans and off-white shirt is more slimming. But variety is the spice of life...and I'm about to order these...!
